Celebs Go Gaga for Hello Kitty

Last week, the hottest party in Beverly Hills didn’t center around this year’s next biggest blockbuster. There was no red carpet and no one got an award. Stars skipped out on fancy ballgowns and instead opted for a more casual attire. They were all their to celebrate a very big birthday… Hello Kitty officially turned 35.

There was food, music and drinks as celeb after celeb showed up to receive their pair of limited-edition Hello Kitty kicks. Among the crowd at the ASICS Hello Kitty lounge were Perrey Reeves, Judy Reyes, Gilles Marini, Stacey Dash, Taryn Manning, Tiffany Thornton, Kayla Ewell, Shoshanna Bush, Tania Gunadi, Asher Book, V Factory, Kristina Anapau, Vanessa Lengies, Brittany Curran, Ashley Rickards, Shauna Sand Lamas, Candace Cameron Bure, Christine Lakin, Toccara Jones, Savvy & Mandy, Rick Yune, Robert Lasardo, Shannon Woodward, Courtenay Semel, Ashley Jones, Carolyn Hennesy, Chelsea Hobbs, Chelsea Staub, Ella Thomas, Elyse Levesque, Lauren Storm, Camille Chen, Bella Thorne, Kiernan Shipka, Madison Pettis, Taylor Spreitler, Chad Rogers, Mikalah Gordon, Anya Monzikova and more. A few of those invited couldn’t make it. Vanessa Minnillo, for instance, was stuck shooting However, Vanessa, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Lowndes, Jamie Lynn Sigler and Carrie Ann Inaba alike still received a pair of these special sneakers, so don’t be surprised if they don them at some point this week.

Other notable celebrations at the Hello Kitty Lounge included Taryn Manning’s 31st birthday, Scrubs’ Judy Reyes announcing she is due in December and Fame’s Asher Book buying women’s shoes so he could rock Hello Kitty too. Look below for pics!
