Fashion For Action is Housing Works’ annual three-day designer sample sale featuring more than a million dollars in fashionable apparel and beauty merchandise from over 150 designers at the charitable cost of 50-70% off retail value! Organized by Derek Lam, this benefit raises money to help people living with HIV get back on track. The benefit will be held on November 19th with tickets start at $100. The $100 per ticket goes to one month of public transportation for HIV-positive clients to receive care. It is open to the public starting Friday, November 20th from 9am-8pm, Saturday, November 21st from 9am-6pm and Sunday, November 22nd from 10am– 6pm. Some of last years designers who will be back are: 3.1 Phillip Lim, 3Lab, A Peace Treaty, Adam + Eve, Agnès B, Apple Bottoms, Baby Phat, Banana Republic, Band of Outsiders, Ben Sherman, Bloomingdale’s, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chado Ralph Rucci, Chanel, Completely Bare, Converse by John Varvatos , Derek Lam, Diane Von Furstenburg and Dior.
