Flats are an essential shoe to have in every color. They can be worn in any scenario and maintain the same classiness and beauty of a pump, yet they are ultra comfortable. Audrey Hepburn lived in flats. Yet like every item of clothing, flats are an ever changing fashion. For example, I moved from ballet flats to big buckles and now I am sporting the colored and patterned flat. In a city that encourages a mostly all black wardrobe, a colored flat is the perfect way to spice up your look. Above all, Coach and Betsey Johnson have the best collections of flats featuring color this season. The Shannon Coach flat is a favorite of mine from this year’s Coach flat collection. Staying true to Coco Chanel’s mantra of simple is better, this shoe embodies the classic Coach flat look with a simple addition of color blocking at the toe. Instead of the typical beige and black, it is brought up a notch with red and deep pink. In a style made popular by Tory Burch, a silver turn-lock inspired by the Coach plaque logo is fastened perfectly on the toe. To get this flat, visit www.coach.com
