My Favorite It Thing: Snake Skin Leggings

My favorite go-to item of clothing is a pair of black snake-skin leggings. As a victim to fashion living in NYC, I have succumbed to an almost all-black wardrobe. All New Yorkers wear all black. When sporting my mostly monochromatic outfit, textual accents make all the difference.  These leggings are the perfect way to spice up the classic black legging or cigarette pant look.  I love to pair these leggings with a classic white t-shirt and a boyfriend blazer, you can dress it up with stilettos or down with a pair of converse. My favorite pair of snake skin leggings are from Balenciaga’s spring/summer 2010 line (pictured above). The pockets add a very cool rocker chick element. To get the look for less, both Express and American apparel have amazing substitutes!
