You can’t stop looking at Alli from Q Model Management.  Obviously she’s striking, but with her looks, Alli can do it all.  Alli’s book has everything from editorial beauty shots, to graceful and clean commercial work.  Hire her for a shoot and she’ll deliver.  She took the time to answer my questions about her life as a model, read them below:

KW:  What are some sources of inspiration for you?

A: Other models always inspire me.  I hear their stories, and it helps me to know that if they can do it, I can do it.

KW:  What is your best and worst feature?

A:  I’m not really sure. I guess my best feature is my skin and my worst is probably my measurements.

KW:  What music/artists gets you pumped before, or during a shoot?

A:  I love The Fray.  Other artists I enjoy listening to are The Cab, Drake, Cartel, Sister Hazel, Citizens Cope and The Jackson 5.

KW:  How old were you when you first started modeling?

A:  I first started modeling in the NYC market a month ago, however, I modeled in the Philadelphia market two years prior to moving to the city.

KW:  How were you discovered?

A:  I was first discovered in Philadelphia by going to an open call.  After working with an agency in Philadelphia for two years, they decided that they wanted to market me in the New York market.  After sending my pictures out to agencies in New York, I signed with Q.

KW:  What has been your favorite shoot or show to walk in so far?  Why?

A:  My favorite shoot has been for Martha Stewart’s wedding magazine.  I had such a fun time modeling all the gorgeous gowns.

KW:  What kind of a photographer do you work best with?

A:  I work really well with photographers who critique you as you shoot.  It helps me to know what I should and should not do, as well as ultimately helps me to improve as a model.

KW:  What would your dream photo shoot be? Where would it be?  What would you be wearing?  What would the concept be?

A:  My dream photo shoot would be a spread in a popular high fashion magazine.  This photo shoot would take place Greece.  I would be sporting the newest summer trends of the upcoming season from every big designer in the fashion industry.

KW:  What’s the best piece of advice for potential models?

A:  Always keep your head up.  It’s hard in the beginning, but in the end it will all pay off.  Always have confidence in yourself and give 100 percent at whatever you do.

KW:  If you weren’t a model, what would you be doing?

A:  If I weren’t a model I would be a student in college.  I had originally planned to attend college to study fashion marketing and fashion journalism.  I still plan to attend college as a part time student very soon. Eventually I’d love to work for a magazine such as Vogue or Elle.

KW:  What does being a  “muse” mean to you?

A:  Being a muse inspires me to reach my full potential as a model.  It helps to increase my work ethic as well as the desire to be an inspiration to others.

KW:  Thanks for taking the time to give us some insight.  We’re looking forward to all your upcoming work and shoots!
