Even if you had to give up your overseas get-a-way this year, you can still get an international shopping fix right in New York City! Soho has a brand new shopping destination in Kisan, a shop that is allowing customers to browse from a multitude of emerging and established designers from all over the world. Designed as an “experimental retail space,” Kisan is a boutique unlike any other. Owners and creators Thorunn Anspach and Olivier BrĂ©mond traveled the world in search of high-quality designers little known and little sold in the United States.
Their journey resulted in a concept store, placed in the heart of Soho, selling everything from women’s ready-to-wear to home decorations. Kisan is the perfect place to find a special gift for most any occasion. They carry baby clothes, stationary, books, electronics, hand-crafted trinkets, travel items and more. In this 1,300-square-foot space, there is no doubt you will fall in love with something, even if it wasn’t what you were looking for!
Kisan is located at 125 Greene Street and is open Monday through Sunday (Mon.-Sat. 11am-7pm, Sun. 12pm-6pm). For more information, log onto their site or call (212) 475-2470.
