We talked about the importance of covering up with our article on great beach cover ups to keep your skin looking radiant; however, no hat will keep wrinkles and cancer away without a little SPF. Hm, that may have been a bit morbid, but seriously, SPF is important not only for the beach, but for your walk to work too. We found a few interesting products that are great to pack away for the beach and perfect to stash right in your bathroom draw. All these products can be used by men and women.

Peter Thomas Roth Oily Problem Skin Instant Mineral Powder SPF 30, Sephora
This is a really cool way to beat the harmful summer rays. The powder works to combat oily skin (a downfall to the heat) and protect your face at the same time with SPF 30. Since it is also oil-free, you’ll never have to worry about clogged pores and breakouts.

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15, Aveeno.com
I have been using this moisturizer for years and I absolutely love it. It is so lightweight you’ll never even know you have it on. It included chamomile and other calming agents to get rid of any skin irritation or redness. Plus, with the added SPF, you will never have to worry about leaving the house unprotected.

Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 33 PA++, Sephora
No need to worry about flakey skin with this suntan lotion, Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun protection, has a built in moisturizer. Among its ingredients is Xylito, which works “to counteract roughness and keep skin looking soft and healthy.”

Clinique Sun SPF 45 Targeted Protection Stick, Clinique
This product is perfect for those spots that need a bit of extra coverage. It is also great to use on those delicate parts of your face since it is conveniently oil-free.

Bobbi Brown Lip Balm SPF 15, Bergdorf Goodman
Most people tend to neglect their lips and often end up with dry and cracking skin from too much sun exposure. This balm is small enough to carry around with you at all times and will always leave you with soft, smooth lips.
