The Stars Promote Harry Potter; Emma Shines in Vintage

Emma Watson stole all the attention at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London. Showing us she has grown considerably since her break onto the Hollywood scene (as if this wasn’t apparent when she modeled for the cover of Vogue this past June), she chose a gorgeous vintage style by Ossie Clark. Adapting to London’s rainy climate, Emma styled her hair in an up-do decorated with a matching red hand band. This kind of hairstyle shows off her face and, more importantly, the dress. The low-cut v-neck reveals just enough to keep her look classy and appropriate, although her wardrobe malfunction showed a little too much of what was underneath her gown (at least she wasn’t wearing a thong!).

Even after he got a bit wet from the rain, Rupert Grint also looked impeccable in a simple suit with a black skinny tie. However, nothing saved poor Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe may have had the right intention to brighten up his suit with neon pink, but his execution was all wrong. The shiny brown suit was too much with the iridescent pink top and patterned tie—not to mention the red pocket square, where did this come from! Well, at least the rain didn’t ruin the outfit.
