What To Wear For Under $250: Jumpsuit

The jumpsuit has been a trend we are all used to by now. They have dominated summer in all different colors and styles and have even made their way onto the red carpet. Kristen Bell showed us even celebrities look for a bargain when she debuted this black Topshop pantsuit on the grass carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. We loved her look. It was simple, clean and could be dressed up or down in any way depending on the accessories chosen. A pantsuit like this is a great late-summer staple that can even go into fall with the addition of a jacket and a pair of booties. We found Kristen’s exact pantsuit for a mere $75 and decided to pair it with a few different accessories that will allow for a fun after-hours look for just under $250.

As we said before, this black all-silk pantsuit was found at Topshop. It has a really nice elastic waist which emphasizes the smallest part of a woman, you can always place a belt around this band to accent the waist even more. With this outfit we tried to play up the jumpsuit’s funkier quality, we accessorized with gray ankle boot-like heels (a steal at Forever 21), Marc by Marc Jacobs zipper earrings (discovered at Saks) and an orange leather wrap bracelet (on sale at shopbop.com) to create a casual cool look for nighttime. We made sure to incorporate neutral autumn colors, so that this look could easily take you into the fall with the simple addition of a black leather jacket. Our total added up to $196.20.
